The position requires dedicated academicians with strong interest in teaching undergraduate dental students. The faculty will also be required to provide clinical  services to the community and take part in research.

The University of Sharjah run an innovative dental undergraduate program based at the College of Dentistry. It is a five year dental program following an initial foundation year. The University Dental Hospital which is built within the same campus forms the Clinical Wing of the College. It has state of the art dental facilities that provides comprehensive basic and advance dental services to the community, forming a solid training ground for dental students. The Dental Hospital integrates with the Sharjah University Hospital and support dental patients who need other medical care services.
The faculty position involves teaching, community services and research as well as academic administration in running the dental program. The faculty shall provide clinical instructions to students and at the same time run the clinical services for the hospital.

A basic dental qualification is mandatory since both specialties will be registered under the dental registration in Ministry of Health UAE. Candidates must possess recognized postgraduate  clinical qualifications and have completed clinical training in their field.
