• Provide first-level technical support on various engineering software problems within the department of Civil & Environmental Engineering
• Handle installation/configuration of various engineering software
• Maintain the hardware/software inventory in the department
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor hardware problems, including plotters, printers and scanners
• Install, configure and maintain network printers
• Ensuring regular backups and restore whenever needed
• Manage permissions on engineering servers for various users
• Monitor the usage of network licenses of civil & environmental engineering software
• May perform other duties related to the nature of his/her job as assigned by the deportment

1. B.Sc. in Computer Engineering or IT
2. Experience in computer maintenance
3. Strong oral and written communication skills in English

• Strong computer and IT background
• Excellent trouble-shooting skills
• Knowledge of Website development, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop/Adobe illustrator is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to Install and upgrade software and perform regular maintenance on servers as required
• Ability to create and modify Websites
• Demonstrated ability to prepare preventative maintenance schedules and backup program necessary to ensure robust data center environment
• Demonstrated ability to resolve problems and faults concerning installation of hardware or software
• Good command of written and spoken English
